Moreton District Juniors
Moreton District has some talented up and coming junior golfers who on Sunday 6th May competed in the Toowoomba City Ken Layton Memorial and Greg Norman Junior Challenge. Tahlia Condon, who is also the 2012 Sandy Gallop Ladies Club Champion, won the Girls Nett in both competitions. The juniors also played in the Gatton Pro-Am on Monday 7th May and returned some personal best scores.
Gailes Golf Club hosted the Metropolitan West schools golf trials on Tuesday 8th May and from the 17 junior golfers selected in the two teams, Moreton District has 10 juniors selected to play at the State Championships in Toowoomba in July.
In the Senior Team (13yrs-19yrs), Matthew Frohmuller, Tahlia Condon, Kiara Frohmuller (Sandy Gallop), Melissa Littlejohns (Laidley), Michael Madden (Wolston Park), and in the Junior Team (10yrs-12yrs), Lauren Ziebarth (Sandy Gallop), Ben Steiler, Louis Dobelar (Brookwater), Jack McLeary and Jackson Morgan (Hattonvale). All juniors are all looking forward to representing their District, Schools and Golf Clubs.
